The winners of the annual Women in Nuclear UK awards have been crowned at a ceremony in Manchester.
The prestigious awards recognise those who have gone above and beyond to promote gender balance and diversity across the nuclear sector.
The six award categories ranged from ‘champion of the year’ to ‘mission possible’ and ‘technical excellence’ to ‘regional innovation’.
Clare Sharpe, WINUK President, said: “All our winners have demonstrated an exceptionally high commitment to furthering the Women in Nuclear mission, and have shown the positive impact they are having on the nuclear sector across the UK and beyond.
“The judges were blown away by the number and quality of entries to this year’s awards, which is a testament to the commitment of both organisations and individuals’ who are passionate about the work they do, and ensuring the industry remains a champion of diversity and inclusion.
