Could you use your experience and enthusiasm to help another thrive – and build your own skills set? Are you looking for an inspirational mentor to help get your career on track?
If this is you, you could be selected to take part in WiN UK’s next 12-month Mentoring Training Programme, kindly sponsored by EDF and AtkinsRealis, and see your confidence soar.
WiN UK is looking to train a total of 50 of its female, or non-gender conforming members, through an inspirational programme delivered by STEMazing, the non-profit social enterprise dedicated to inspiration and inclusion in STEM.
Elina Millitello Asp, WiN UK joint Exec member for Regions, said: “This course is tailored to address the current gender imbalance in leadership roles and create a supportive talent pipeline.
“We know women in our industry would prefer a non-male role model to mentor them, but there is a lack of candidates. This is due to a number of factors; there are fewer women in the industry but there is also a general lack in confidence and perhaps understanding of what being a mentor entails.
“We had fantastic feedback from the first course we ran and are delighted to offer this again for 2025.”
There are 25 training opportunities for mentors and 25 spaces for mentees, who will be paired with a mentor. There are further sponsorship opportunities, including sponsorship of individual places.
Mentors will be expected to meet with (virtually or in-person) their mentee at least for an hour once a month for a year. More details about the programme and how to apply at:

The closing date for applications is December 8.
